Green markets in Palm Beach County at a glance
The county has more markets than we can list here. Some are big, city-run events with more than 100 vendors. Others are small weekend gatherings run by a shopping center or a nonprofit. Below are the ones that locals mention most, grouped by city from south to north.
- Boca Raton: Sunday market at Royal Palm Place, downtown.
- Delray Beach: Saturday winter GreenMarket at Old School Square.
- Lake Worth Beach: Saturday waterside market by the Lake Avenue bridge.
- West Palm Beach: Saturday GreenMarket on the downtown waterfront.
- Palm Beach Gardens: Sunday GreenMarket at the city hall campus.
- Jupiter: Sunday Green and Artisan Market by the Intracoastal, all year.
Most markets are free to enter. Many vendors take cards now, but cash still helps at smaller stands. Also, arrive early for the best produce and the easiest parking.
Boca Raton: the Royal Palm Place market
In Boca Raton, the green market has been held on Sundays at Royal Palm Place, the shopping and dining district near Federal Highway and Mizner Boulevard. During the 2025 to 2026 season, it ran Sundays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from early October to early May. The organizers had not posted firm 2026 to 2027 dates when we checked, so confirm before you go.
Parking is free throughout Royal Palm Place, with metered spots on nearby side streets. The market has been listed as pet-friendly. Expect local produce, baked goods, flowers and handmade items.
What it says about downtown Boca
The market sits in downtown Boca, a walkable area of condos, townhomes and older single-family streets close to Mizner Park. As a result, buyers who want to walk to dinner and a Sunday market often start their search here. According to Pure Equity's MLS data as of October 1, 2026, the median list price of active residential listings across Boca Raton was $550,000, with houses and condos mixed together. Downtown prices can run well above or below that, so look at the exact building or street.
Delray Beach: the GreenMarket at Old School Square
Delray Beach runs one of the best known green markets in Palm Beach County. The winter season opens Saturday, October 24, 2026, and runs every Saturday through May 22, 2027, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It sets up on the Old School Square campus, just north of Atlantic Avenue. In recent years the city has also run a shorter summer market on Saturdays.
The market is run through the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. Downtown Delray has public garages and metered street parking, but spaces fill up fast on busy weekends. So plan to arrive early or walk in from a side street.
What it says about downtown Delray
Delray's market sits in the middle of its busy downtown. Nearby you will find older cottages, newer townhomes and condos within walking distance of Atlantic Avenue. According to Pure Equity's MLS data as of October 1, 2026, the median list price of active listings in Delray Beach was $278,000. That figure is pulled down by the large number of condos in the city, so homes near downtown tend to ask much more.
Lake Worth Beach: the waterside market
The Lake Worth Beach farmers market sets up on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., October through April. You will find it under the A1A overpass at Lake Avenue, next to the Intracoastal. The organizer lists more than 80 vendors and calls the market dog-friendly.
This market has a relaxed, artsy feel that fits the city. After shopping, many people cross the bridge to the beach or walk back to downtown Lake Avenue for lunch.
What it says about Lake Worth Beach
Lake Worth Beach is known for older bungalows, small historic homes and a downtown full of local shops. Buyers who like character and a slower pace often look here. In fact, the market itself shows the mix of artists, families and long-time locals that gives the city its feel.
West Palm Beach: the waterfront GreenMarket
The West Palm Beach GreenMarket is the biggest name among green markets in Palm Beach County. Its 2026 to 2027 season opens Saturday, October 3, 2026. It runs every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the downtown waterfront along Flagler Drive, near the foot of Clematis Street. The city lists more than 130 vendors.
Parking and pets at the West Palm Beach green market
Parking is free until noon in the Evernia Street garage and the City Center garage, according to the city's parks department. If you come by boat, public docks are nearby. Dogs are welcome, so you will see plenty of them. Still, keep yours on a short leash, since the walkways get crowded by mid-morning.
What it says about downtown West Palm Beach
Downtown West Palm Beach mixes high-rise condos with historic neighborhoods a short drive or bike ride away, such as El Cid and Flamingo Park. According to Pure Equity's MLS data as of October 1, 2026, the median list price of active listings in West Palm Beach was $315,000. That number blends many condos with single-family homes, so neighborhood-level prices vary widely.
Palm Beach Gardens: the Gardens GreenMarket
The Gardens GreenMarket opens Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the City Hall Municipal Campus, 10500 N. Military Trail. It runs each Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. The city uses 4404 Burns Road as the address for navigation.
Unlike several other markets, this one does not allow pets. The city cites its rule against animals in city parks and asks visitors to leave pets at home. Service animals are the exception.
What it says about Palm Beach Gardens
Palm Beach Gardens is largely planned communities, golf neighborhoods and newer builds, with shopping centers close by. The market draws families from across the city. According to Pure Equity's MLS data as of October 1, 2026, the median list price of active listings in Palm Beach Gardens was $899,000.
Jupiter: the Green and Artisan Market
Jupiter's Green and Artisan Market runs on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., all year. It sets up at the Riverwalk Events Plaza, 140 Coastal Way, under the Indiantown Road bridge and close to Harbourside Place. The town describes it as dog-friendly.
Because it runs year-round, this market is a good pick for summer visitors and new arrivals who move in after spring. Expect produce, baked goods, crafts and jewelry, with boats passing on the water.
