Where Does Trick Daddy Live in Florida? Inside His Miramar Home

September 21, 2026 · 8 min read · By Onias Derilus, Broker

Trick Daddy, the Liberty City rapper, has lived for years in a gated subdivision in Miramar rather than a Miami Beach mansion. Court filings show he fought hard to keep that home through four bankruptcies. Here is what is reported, and what homes near him cost now.

Where does Trick Daddy live? The Miami rapper, born Maurice Young in Liberty City, lives in Miramar, a suburb in southwest Broward County. Reports and court filings place his home in Silver Shores, a gated subdivision on the west side of the city. It is a regular family house, not a waterfront estate, and he has spent much of the past decade fighting to keep it. Here is what public reporting says.

Key takeaways

  • Miramar, in Silver Shores: a guard-gated lake community in west Miramar, about 20 miles from the Liberty City blocks he raps about.
  • Value in court filings: his 2019 bankruptcy listed the home at $350,000; a 2017 report put it at $417,000. The original purchase price was not reported.
  • Four bankruptcies in five years: one filing landed on the very day the house was set for a foreclosure auction.
  • The market around him: Miramar homes sit in the middle of the Broward price range, far below the Miami Beach islands other rappers favor.

Where does Trick Daddy live in Florida?

Trick Daddy lives in Miramar, Florida. That surprises some fans, because his music is so tied to Miami proper. Liberty City, the neighborhood he grew up in, sits in the north part of the city of Miami. Miramar is a separate city across the county line in Broward, and it is mostly suburban: lakes, cul-de-sacs, and gated subdivisions built from the 1990s onward.

The home is in Silver Shores, on the west side of Miramar near Interstate 75. Starcasm identified the community when it reported on a 2016 lien from the Silver Shores Master Association, the neighborhood HOA. Later bankruptcy filings, covered by The Blast, listed the same association as a creditor. So the location is well documented in court records, even though the rapper himself rarely talks about it.

Pure Equity does not publish private addresses. The subdivision name is as specific as this post gets, and that is as specific as any reader needs.

Inside the reported Miramar home

Hard details about the house are thin, and most of them come from court paperwork rather than a listing. In his 2019 Chapter 13 filing, Trick Daddy valued the Miramar home at $350,000, according to The Blast. Two years earlier, Bossip reported the value at $417,000 when the home faced a foreclosure sale. Those two numbers frame the likely range. The price he originally paid was not reported.

Celebrity Net Worth described the house as roughly 4,000 square feet of living space. We could not confirm that figure in a stronger outlet, so treat it as approximate. It does fit the neighborhood, though. Homes.com says Silver Shores homes date from the late 1990s into the early 2000s, run from about 1,500 to 4,200 square feet, and share a Mediterranean look with stucco walls and barrel-tile roofs.

The 2019 filing also gave a picture of the debt on the house. The Blast reported about $435,682 owed to Fannie Mae on the mortgage and about $12,000 owed to the HOA. Because the debt exceeded the value he listed, the home was underwater at that point. That gap explains why so much of his legal trouble has centered on this one property.

The foreclosure fights, year by year

The Miramar house is the second Florida home Trick Daddy has fought over. Miami New Times reported that a bank foreclosed on his earlier four-bedroom home in the Richmond West area of southwest Miami-Dade in May 2010 and sold it that October. The same story noted more than $157,000 in IRS tax liens against him.

The trouble followed him north. Starcasm reported that Deutsche Bank National Trust sued over the Miramar loan, saying no payments had come in since January 2014, and asked the court for about $170,000 plus possession of the house. In March 2016, theJasmineBRAND reported a foreclosure judgment and an order to vacate. A month later the same outlet reported he had filed for bankruptcy again, which paused the sale.

Then, in 2017, Bossip reported that he filed a third bankruptcy on the day the home faced auction. One more day and the bank would have sold it. In 2019 he filed a fourth time, listing no cash in the bank, per The Blast and YourTango. Each filing stopped the clock, and the house stayed in his name. That is the whole story of his real estate, in short: one modest home, defended repeatedly.

Why Trick Daddy chose Miramar

He has never given an interview about why he picked Miramar, so we can only point to the pattern. West Miramar in the early 2000s was one of the main places Miami families moved when they wanted a newer house, a gate, and a yard without leaving the metro area. Silver Shores offered exactly that: lakes, a guarded entrance, a clubhouse and pools, and a short drive to I-75, according to Homes.com and the community's own site.

It also kept him close to work. Miramar is about a half hour from the Miami studios, clubs and radio stations where his career runs. He has stayed a fixture in the local scene. He performed live in Miami with Trina in December 2023, and Miramar's own city news site billed him as a speaker at a Miramar First Fridays event. In other words, he lives near the city he made famous, in the suburb that many of its residents moved to.

Where else does Trick Daddy live?

No other current home is reported. The Richmond West house in Miami-Dade went to foreclosure in 2010 and belongs to someone else now. His bankruptcy filings, which require a full list of assets, showed only the Miramar home, a small amount of household goods, and a stake in his publishing company, according to theJasmineBRAND and The Blast. There is no reported second home, out-of-state property, or rental.

That makes him unusual among Miami rappers of his era. Rick Ross owns a 235-acre estate in Georgia. Birdman spent years on a Palm Island mansion. Trick Daddy's real estate, by contrast, is a single suburban house. Readers looking for the bigger Miami celebrity homes can start with our post on celebrities who live in South Florida.

What homes near Trick Daddy cost

Miramar sits in the middle of the Broward County price range. Our own Miramar page carries the live listing count and median for the city. For context, next door in Hollywood our MLS feed as of September 2026 shows about 2,240 active listings with a median list price near $500,000 and an average of about 150 days on market. In Davie, just north, the median is about $370,000 across roughly 610 listings, with homes moving in about 98 days.

Silver Shores homes trade above the Miramar median because of the gate, the lakes and the larger floor plans. Gated subdivisions like this one make up a big share of west Broward, and you can compare them on our gated communities hub. Buyers who want more land can look west to Southwest Ranches, where the median sits near $2.9 million. For the county as a whole, see our Broward County guide.

For a seller in Miramar, the useful takeaway is that a well-kept home in a guard-gated lake community still commands a premium here. Days on market across the region have stretched in 2026, so pricing to the current comps matters more than it did two years ago.

Frequently asked questions

Where does Trick Daddy live now?

He lives in Miramar, Florida, in the Silver Shores subdivision. Court filings from 2016 through 2019 list the home as his main asset, and no move has been reported since. He remains active in the Miami music scene, about a half hour away.

Where in Miramar does Trick Daddy live?

Reports place the home in Silver Shores, a guard-gated community of lakefront single-family homes on the west side of Miramar near I-75. We do not publish the street or house number.

Where does Trick Daddy live full time?

The Miramar home appears to be his only residence, so it is his full-time home by default. His bankruptcy schedules, which must list every property, showed no second home.

How much is Trick Daddy's Miramar home worth?

His 2019 bankruptcy filing valued it at $350,000, per The Blast, while Bossip reported $417,000 in 2017. Silver Shores homes of similar size have sold for more since then, but no recent appraisal is public.

Does Trick Daddy still own the Miramar home?

As of the last reporting, yes. Each bankruptcy filing halted the pending foreclosure sale, and no completed sale of the Miramar house has appeared in reporting. The 2010 foreclosure involved a different home in southwest Miami-Dade.

Can you buy a home in Silver Shores?

Yes. Silver Shores is a standard HOA community, so homes list on the open market when owners sell. Inventory is small, usually a dozen or so homes at a time, and the lake lots go first.
