Where Does Greg Norman Live in Florida? From Jupiter Island to Old Palm Golf Club

September 21, 2026 · 8 min read · By Onias Derilus, Broker

Greg Norman sold his Jupiter Island compound for $55.1 million in 2021 and bought a home in Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens. Here is what is reported about both properties, the Medalist Club he built, and what homes nearby cost now.

Where does Greg Norman live? The two-time Open champion lives in Old Palm Golf Club, a gated golf community in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He bought there in April 2021, one day after selling his famous Jupiter Island estate, Tranquility, for $55.1 million. Reports at the time said he and his wife planned to spend more time in Australia, but his years running LIV Golf kept Florida as his base. Here is what public reporting says about both homes, the club he designed in Hobe Sound, and the market around them.

Key takeaways

  • Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens is his reported home since 2021, on one of the club's two double lots.
  • The Real Deal put the price at $12.2 million for about 11,800 square feet with six bedrooms, a tennis court and a guest house.
  • Tranquility, his Jupiter Island compound, sold for $55.1 million after listing at $59.9 million, per Forbes and Fox Business.
  • He co-designed the Medalist Club in Hobe Sound, the course Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson now use as a home base.

Where does Greg Norman live in Florida?

Greg Norman lives in Palm Beach Gardens, inside Old Palm Golf Club. The community sits on PGA Boulevard, a few miles west of the Intracoastal, and holds a Raymond Floyd course, a large practice park and a few hundred estate homes behind a gate. It is one of the newer private clubs in the area and one of the most expensive.

The Real Deal reported the purchase in April 2021. Norman and his wife, Kirsten, bought a double-lot home at the end of the course beside a pond. South Florida Business and Wealth later noted that the club has only two double lots, and Norman owns one of them. Pure Equity does not publish private addresses, so we name the club and stop there.

For 30 years before that, Norman's home was Jupiter Island, the barrier island north of Jupiter in Martin County. His compound there, which he named Tranquility, ran from the ocean to the Intracoastal. It was one of the largest private holdings on the island and the property most people picture when they think of the Shark in Florida.

Jupiter Island is a separate town with its own rules, and that is part of its appeal. Lots are large, building is tightly controlled, and the town has long ranked among the wealthiest zip codes in the country. Norman's neighbors over the years included Tiger Woods, Celine Dion and a long list of business owners. The island sits in Martin County, just across the line from Palm Beach County, so a move to Palm Beach Gardens kept him within half an hour of his old neighborhood.

Inside the reported Old Palm home

The Real Deal and Fox Business described the new house in the same terms. It runs 11,837 square feet on about two acres, with six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two half baths. Outside there is a large pool with a swim-up bar, a summer kitchen, cabanas, a tennis court and a separate guest house. The price was $12.2 million, which made it one of the larger Old Palm sales of that year.

Tranquility was a different scale. Fox Business reported 8.31 acres with 172 feet on the ocean and 370 feet on the Intracoastal. The compound held several buildings that together ran about 31,800 square feet, with ten bedrooms, twelve bathrooms and six half baths. Bleacher Report rounded that to 32,000 square feet. Reports describe two wine cellars, a theater, two pools, a tennis court and a boathouse.

The pricing history is instructive. Forbes reported in January 2021 that the Normans listed the estate at $59.9 million. Earlier marketing had floated a figure near $78 million, as several outlets noted. The sale closed in April 2021 at $55.1 million to the family of Les Wexner, the founder of L Brands. The Normans also sold their Colorado ranch for $40 million in the same period, per Fox Business.

Why Greg Norman chose northern Palm Beach County

Norman arrived in the area in the early 1990s, when few tour players lived here. He made the region his business base as much as his home. His company designed courses around the world, and his wine, apparel and beef ventures ran out of local offices. Jupiter Island gave him privacy and an ocean-to-Intracoastal lot that could hold a family compound.

His largest local mark is the Medalist Club in Hobe Sound. Norman co-designed it with Pete Dye in the mid 1990s, and it became the practice ground for a generation of players. Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Rickie Fowler have all used it as a home course. In a real sense the tour player colony in Jupiter grew up around a course Norman built.

The move to Old Palm in 2021 fit a later stage of life. A golf estate inside a gate takes less upkeep than an eight-acre oceanfront compound with several buildings. Reports at the time also said the couple wanted to spend more time in Australia, where Norman grew up. Within months, however, he took the job as commissioner and chief executive of LIV Golf, a role he held until early 2025. That work kept him traveling from Florida rather than settling abroad.

Where else does Greg Norman live?

Norman has owned homes on several continents, but most of the well-known ones are gone. He sold the Colorado ranch in 2021. He sold Tranquility the same year. Reports of a home in Australia surface from time to time, and his family ties there are real, but no outlet has reported a specific purchase since the 2021 sales.

As of this writing, no sale of the Old Palm home has appeared in any outlet we track. In other words, Palm Beach Gardens is his only confirmed residence. The LIV years took him to Saudi Arabia, London and a dozen tournament cities, but those were work trips rather than homes.

What homes near Greg Norman cost

Old Palm Golf Club is among the top addresses in Palm Beach Gardens. Estate homes inside the gate have sold from the mid single-digit millions to well above $20 million in recent years, and a club membership adds its own cost. Our Old Palm page shows whatever is active on the MLS.

The city as a whole is far broader. Our MLS feed as of September 2026 shows about 760 active listings in Palm Beach Gardens, a median list price near $898,000 and an average of about 107 days on market. That median covers condos, golf villas at PGA National and estates at Frenchman's Creek and Mirasol.

Jupiter Island, where Norman lived before, is a different market altogether. Our feed shows about 14 active listings there with a median near $19.7 million and an average of about 192 days on market. Few places in Florida ask more per home. For the wider picture, see our golf and country club homes hub, the luxury homes hub and the Palm Beach County page.
