Where Does Pitbull Live in Florida? Mr. 305 and His Miami Footprint

September 21, 2026 · 8 min read · By Onias Derilus, Broker

Pitbull was born in Miami, grew up in Little Havana and still calls the city home. No outlet has reported the house he lives in. What is reported is a childhood home in Wynwood he plans to replace with an office tower, a Pinecrest lot tied to his company, and a long list of Miami ventures. Here is what that means for anyone who owns nearby.

Where does Pitbull live? In Miami, the city he was born in and has never really left. Armando Christian Perez, known as Mr. 305 after the local area code, grew up in Little Havana and keeps his own house out of the press. No outlet we found has reported his current home. What is reported is a childhood home in Wynwood he plans to turn into a headquarters, a Pinecrest lot bought through a company tied to him, and a string of Miami businesses. Here is the record.

Key takeaways

  • Miami native, private address: born in the city in 1981, raised in Little Havana, and no reported home in the press.
  • Wynwood headquarters: in March 2026 The Real Deal reported plans to replace a 700-square-foot childhood home with an eight-story office for Mr. 305 Inc.
  • Pinecrest lot bought for $850,000 in 2015 by an LLC tied to his label, per the Miami Herald, though his lawyer said he did not own it.
  • City of Miami median list price is about $640,000 across more than 11,000 listings, per our MLS feed as of September 2026.

Where does Pitbull live in Florida?

The honest answer is Miami, with no street or neighborhood confirmed. Pitbull has said it himself many times. In a 2025 Instagram post he wrote that Miami is his home, born and raised in the 305. He was born in the city on January 15, 1981, to Cuban parents, and Little Havana is the neighborhood most often tied to his childhood. Florida Trend, in a November 2024 profile, again described him simply as Miami-born.

That is unusual for a star of his size. Most of the names in our South Florida celebrity roundup have had a home purchase covered by The Real Deal or the Miami Herald. Pitbull has not, at least not one he admits to. So this post is about the places in Miami that public reporting does tie to him, and about the neighborhoods that shaped him.

Pure Equity does not publish private addresses. Two of the properties below appeared in news stories with their locations, and we name only the neighborhoods. You can see current inventory across the city on our Miami page.

Inside the reported Wynwood and Pinecrest properties

The Wynwood story is the newest. In March 2026 The Real Deal reported that Pitbull wants to build the headquarters of his Mr. 305 music company on the site of one of his childhood homes in Wynwood. Billboard and Local 10 followed. The house is small: a two-bedroom of roughly 700 square feet, finished in 1927. Commercial Observer put the lot at 1,750 square feet. Miami has already approved demolition.

The plan calls for an eight-story building of about 11,200 square feet, with 9,700 square feet of office space, per The Real Deal. The Rilea Group is the developer, and Deforma Studio drew up the design. Renderings show a black and white mural down one eight-story wall, a nod to the street art that made Wynwood famous. So the house he grew up in becomes the office he runs his label from.

The Pinecrest property is older and less flattering. In August 2018 the Miami Herald reported that neighbors in Pinecrest had started a petition over a moldy, empty house with a fallen fence and a yard full of trash. County records showed an LLC registered to Mr. 305 Inc. bought it in February 2015 for $850,000. Michael Calderon, one of Pitbull's managers, ran the LLC at the time.

Pitbull's lawyer, Leslie Zigel, told the Herald that his client denied owning the property. The neighbors said he had never lived there, and the paper noted he was on tour. Code violations covered trash, dilapidated structures and standing water. A neighbor's petition claimed fines of $100 a day since March 2018, though village records did not confirm the amount. We found no later reporting on what became of the lot.

Why Pitbull stays in Miami

Because his business is here, and he has built it around the city's name. He founded a tuition-free charter school, SLAM, in Little Havana in 2013. Florida Trend reported in 2024 that the model had spread to 14 states. His vodka brand is Voli 305. He took an equity stake in Miami Subs. In 2009 the city gave him a key to the city.

The biggest recent deal is at FIU. Florida Trend reported that Pitbull secured naming rights to the university's football stadium, now Pitbull Stadium, for $1.2 million a year through at least 2029, with a five-year extension option. The school named him its official entrepreneur of athletics, and his Voli 305 vodka pours at the stadium. Florida Trend also noted his SELF 1st foundation, which works on school access for underserved kids, and an audience of 24 million on X and 11 million on Instagram. Add the Wynwood headquarters, and his money sits in Miami as much as his music does.

There is also the simple fact that he never moved. Many performers buy in Los Angeles once they hit. Pitbull's public property trail, thin as it is, points only at Miami-Dade County.

Where does Pitbull live when not in Miami?

On the road. His nickname, Mr. Worldwide, describes a tour schedule that keeps him away for long stretches, and the 2018 Herald story caught him mid-tour. We found no reporting of a second home in another state or country. If one exists, it has not made the property pages.

That leaves Miami as the only confirmed base. It also leaves a gap that other outlets fill with guesses. Maps sites and video channels claim to show his house, but none we saw cited a deed or a listing, so we do not repeat them.

What homes near Pitbull cost

Since his own neighborhood is unknown, the useful numbers are for the places reporting ties him to. The City of Miami, which includes Wynwood and Little Havana, has more than 11,000 active listings in our MLS feed as of September 2026. The median list price is about $640,000, and homes average about 130 days on market. Wynwood itself is mostly condos, lofts and small older houses like the one he grew up in.

Pinecrest is a different world. Our feed shows about 170 active listings with a median list price near $5.1 million, on lots that often run an acre. That is why an $850,000 purchase there in 2015 was a land buy, not a house buy. A neglected house on a Pinecrest lot still carries most of its value in the dirt.

For the middle ground, Coral Gables sits between them with a median near $2 million. Browse luxury homes across the region or the whole of Miami-Dade County.

An eight-story headquarters for Mr. 305 Inc., about 11,200 square feet with 9,700 square feet of offices, on the site of a 1927 house he lived in as a child. The Real Deal broke the story in March 2026.

Yes, though single-family houses are scarce there now. Most of what trades is condo units and small commercial lots, and the older houses that remain often sell for redevelopment, as Pitbull's own is about to.
