Where Does Marc Anthony Live in Florida? His Coral Gables Homes
September 21, 2026 · 8 min read · By Onias Derilus, Broker
Marc Anthony's Florida trail runs through Coral Gables: a 12-bedroom Cocoplum estate he bought for $19 million and sold for $22.4 million, a Tahiti Beach mansion he rented, and a downtown Miami condo he listed in 2024. No current home has been reported. Here is what the record shows and what those neighborhoods cost.
Where does Marc Anthony live? The Miami area is his reported base, but the exact home is not public. What is public is a paper trail through Coral Gables. He bought a waterfront estate in Cocoplum in 2018 for about $19 million and sold it in 2021 for $22.4 million. Before that he rented a mansion on Tahiti Beach. And in 2024 he listed a large condo in downtown Miami. Here is what each report says, and what those neighborhoods cost today.
Key takeaways
- Coral Gables, Cocoplum: a gated waterfront community where he owned Villa Costanera from 2018 to 2021.
- Bought for $19 million, sold for $22.4 million, per The Real Deal and Islander News, after a $27 million ask in 2020.
- About 20,500 square feet on 1.3 acres, with 12 bedrooms, three kitchens, a wine cellar and a 100-foot dock.
- Coral Gables median list price is about $2 million across roughly 440 active listings, per our MLS feed as of September 2026.
Where does Marc Anthony live in Florida?
The honest answer is that no outlet has reported his current home. The reporting we found ends with a condo listing in May 2024. Since then, nothing. So this post covers the three Florida properties tied to him in the press, all in Miami-Dade County, and treats the question of his present address as open.
The center of that trail is Coral Gables. It is the city south of downtown Miami with the Mediterranean building code, the canopy streets and the waterfront enclaves along Biscayne Bay. Two of them matter here. Cocoplum is a gated community of large lots on canals and the bay. Tahiti Beach is a smaller gated island next to it. Both draw buyers who want a dock and a guard gate within a short drive of Brickell.
Pure Equity does not publish private addresses. The communities above appear in every story on these sales, so we name them and stop there.
Inside the reported Cocoplum estate
Islander News reported in May 2021 that Marc Anthony, whose legal name is Marco Muniz, sold the Cocoplum home for $22.416 million. The Real Deal rounded it to $22.4 million. He had paid about $19 million in 2018, buying from Hilda Maria Bacardi of the rum family. The house, known as Villa Costanera, went on the market in September 2020 at $27 million. So it sold for about 17 percent under the ask, but still $3.4 million over what he paid.
The numbers on the house are large. Islander News put it at 20,546 square feet on a 1.3-acre lot, with 12 bedrooms and 13 full baths. Robb Report, in a later story, counted three kitchens, a wine cellar and a 100-foot boat dock. The design is Mediterranean, by architect Rafael Portuondo, with a formal living room, a formal dining room, a family room and an eat-in kitchen. The main suite has its own living room and two baths.
Robb Report named the buyer as investor John Curtius. The listing agent was Anamaria Velasquez of Nexxos Realty, per Islander News. Three years of ownership, one cycle of the market, and a modest gain: that is the whole story of the Cocoplum house.
The Tahiti Beach rental and the downtown condo
Before he bought, he rented. In January 2025 Robb Report covered a Tahiti Beach mansion listed at $19.5 million whose agents said Marc Anthony once leased it. The home is 9,440 square feet with six bedrooms and six and a half baths, double-height ceilings, marble and oak floors, a media room, a gym, a finished basement and a heated pool. It had been on and off the rental market since 2011 at $29,000 to $45,000 a month, and it was listed for sale at $7.5 million in 2017.
That gap, from a $7.5 million ask in 2017 to $19.5 million in 2025, says as much about Coral Gables as it does about the house. Gated waterfront in the city more than doubled in asking terms over eight years.
The condo is the newest item. CiberCuba reported in May 2024 that Marc Anthony had listed a unit at One Thousand Museum, the Zaha Hadid tower on Biscayne Boulevard finished in 2019. The unit was described as 8,400 square feet with five bedrooms and six and a half baths, asking $11.4 million, and it had been on the market about a month. What he paid was not reported. The building has a helipad, a spa and two residences per floor.
Why Marc Anthony keeps a base in Miami
He has not said much on the record about why, so we stick to what the pattern shows. Miami is the working capital of Latin music, and he has recorded and performed there for decades. His Florida homes have all been within a few miles of Brickell and the downtown studios. The Cocoplum purchase came in 2018, the rental before it, and the condo after it, so the base has held for at least a decade.
Reporting from 2024 and 2025 also placed him in Miami socially. Metro World News, in a story on Shakira's Miami Beach house, said he looked at buying it in 2024 and did not. That is a rumor, not a purchase, but it fits a man still shopping in the market.
Where does Marc Anthony live when not in Miami?
On tour, for long stretches of every year. He was born in New York, and New York remains the city most tied to his career. We found no current reporting of a home he owns there or anywhere else, so we do not list one. If he has bought again since selling Cocoplum, it has not reached the property press we track.
What homes near Marc Anthony cost
Coral Gables is the most useful comparison, since two of his three properties were there. Our MLS feed as of September 2026 shows about 440 active listings with a median list price near $2 million and an average of about 130 days on market. Cocoplum and Tahiti Beach sit far above that median. A waterfront estate in either can run from the high single-digit millions to well past $20 million, and the biggest bayfront sales in the city have gone higher.
The neighboring enclave, Gables Estates, is the other name buyers hear at that level. For a lower entry point, the City of Miami carries more than 11,000 listings and a median near $640,000, and a downtown tower unit like his One Thousand Museum condo is one end of that range. Frequently asked questions
Where does Marc Anthony live now?
The Miami area, as far as public reporting goes, but no current home has been confirmed. He sold his Coral Gables estate in 2021 and listed a downtown Miami condo in 2024.
Where in Coral Gables does Marc Anthony live?
He no longer owns there, as far as reporting shows. His former estate was in Cocoplum, and the mansion he rented earlier was on Tahiti Beach. Both are gated waterfront communities on the south side of the city.
Where does Marc Anthony live full time?
Miami has been his full-time base for at least a decade, judging by the run of purchases, rentals and listings there. So where does Marc Anthony live between tours? In Miami, at an address that has stayed private.
How much did Marc Anthony sell the Coral Gables home for?
$22.416 million in May 2021, per Islander News, after asking $27 million. He had paid about $19 million in 2018, so the gain was about $3.4 million before costs.
Does Marc Anthony still own a home in Miami?
Possibly. CiberCuba reported in May 2024 that he had listed a One Thousand Museum condo at $11.4 million. We found no report of that sale closing, so he may still hold it.
Can you buy a home in Cocoplum?
Yes. Cocoplum is a gated community with a homeowners association, and homes come to market every year. Waterfront lots on the bay or the main canals carry the highest prices, and the buyer pool is small and specific.
